My first dance class!

Yup. Today i went for my first dance class in boston. Hmm.. I was very nervous actually cos I signed up for hip hop and I am not exactly sure what it is. Haha... so I arrived there with jeans while everyone else is in tights.. Hmm.. quite dumb of me.. but nvm lah.. i still manage to do the stretches. Haha..

The class is quite fun actually. And it is more like a performance actually cos the teacher did a lot of difficult dance moves for us to see, like those break dancing moves. He is really good.

Hmm.. the class is fun. BUT.. i came to a conclusion. Hip hop is not for me. Cos even though no one will exactly consider me as someone who dances, I think I am exactly classically trained in my dances posture and stuff. Hmm.. not ballet trained. But my belly dancing and chinese dancing background is more classic-ish. Whereas hip hop is really an entirely different kind of dance. How you carry ur weight, the posture. and all that.. is just so different.

Hmm.. anyway hip hop will serve as a nice culture exposure for me, although I try not to look into the mirror.. cos the way i move, even though i am doing the same exact move... is just so unhiphopish.. haha. ( I think I just invented some new compound words.)

Anyway, it was fun and I like it. In the meantime, I really feel like dancing again. Haha.. hope i can find a way to dance belly dancing long term. =)

Ahhhh....

Lady Feynman tries dancing... let's she if she eventually turns semi-pro or even pro... like how Feynman end up selling his painting.

Maybe it's your Cornell background, perhaps it's your physics leaning, or it could be that you belong to the same genius caste - you always remind me of Feynman.

how do you fancy "Feynwoman" for a nickname?

產後塑身衣淺談

對於出了“月子”,身體復原的很好的媽媽,可以繼續使用棉質塑身衣產品,也可以選擇以下兩種產品:
1、彈力纖維針織塑身衣產品一般中低檔的有含有氨綸,高檔的含有銅氨纖維、莫代爾之類的天然提取纖維。特點是立體編織,塑身效果,特別是收腹提臀效果明顯,不緊繃,作為日常內衣穿著,沒有不適的感覺,可以長久穿著,在不知不覺中瘦身、塑身。
2、傳統塑身衣就是加膠骨的氨綸織物縫合而成,有的高科技產品加入幾丁質和三角絲,刺激皮膚新陳代謝,不過產後時間不長的媽媽有可能皮膚承受不了。
優點是效果明顯,特別是推背(防止駝背)效果,是一般針織塑身衣達不到的 。
